I keep hearing people say that all you do in Diablo 3 is click things. This is stupid on multiple levels. First off, If you just stood still and clicked on an enemy without moving to dodge attacks, using crowd control abilities, or managing your health, you would die. No, not only on the hardest difficulties. I assume that the whole “you just click on things” argument is supposed to point out that Diablo 3 is shallow? Or that it’s mindlessly easy? It’s not! There is strategy involved. No, it’s not freaking Civilization, but you’re still playing a freaking game. It’s not manual labor.
Also, have you ever enjoyed a shooter on your PC? What do you think you’re doing when you shoot all those aliens, Nazis, and brown people? You are CLICKING ON THEM.
Look, if you want to criticize Diablo 3, there is a LOT to criticize. How about the predictable, cookie cutter story? Or the scary consequences that may come out of the auction house that uses real money? But if I hear one more person say that all you do is click things, I’m going to kill a goat. I don’t even know where I would get a goat, but I will, and I will do unkind things to it.
Also, I really like Back to the Future Part II.

I agree, that in FPS campaigns, you’re also just clicking on people, which is why FPS campaigns are often so dull. It’s different when you’re playing against another human. That makes it like a game of poker. Players have to feint and fool and bluff and then still be able to more accurately execute the aiming and clicking.
Obviously, Diablo III is not “just clicking,” and you can play it poorly enough to die, but… is there such thing as “the world’s best Diablo III player”?
That one guy beat hardcore mode (where if you die, you lose all progress) on the hardest difficulty recently.. I present him as the world’s greatest Diablo 3 maker.
Smart comic, and love the Back to the Future reference ^^
