I’m a big fan of rhythm games (as long as they don’t required expensive plastic instruments to play them), and I also love me some Final Fantasy. So, yeah, I’m pretty deep into Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. Which is fine, since it’s a delicious blend of fun and nostalgia, but it does feel weird to be grinding in a music game, especially when I’m grinding for something as ridiculous as “Rhythmia.”
People have been comparing the title to Elite Beat Agents, probably my favorite game for the DS. The comparison is flattering, but it’s also just. I just don’t know how much non-Final Fantasy fans would get out of the game.
You’ll notice that the site has been redesigned a bit. I tried to add some character and personality to the page. You know, basically so it doesn’t look like another ComicPress site. Feel free to let me know what you think.
